I'm Philip
, a designer in Deventer who was told the robots would do the designing now. Fine. Twenty years in, BTNG.studio is still my main thing: research, design and experiments that make ecommerce stores sell more. The robots and I build Proviand, Koppel and Doorst.app. Wando is a poster store I run because I refuse to stop making posters.
Currently working on
A marketplace where brands bid to put their logo on your stuff.
Peppol e-invoicing for Shopify. Makes B2B merchants compliant with EU e-invoicing mandates.
Tells Shopify shop owners what to reorder, based on what they already sold.
Custom poster store. Design and order art prints.

This is Proviand. Nobody uses it yet.
Proviand tells Shopify shop owners what to reorder, how much and when. It has been in the App Store since 13 July and has zero installs. The introduction I never wrote, with a favour at the end.
I took my cold email back
For a year someone else ran my cold email. Since this week an AI writes every mail for one person, I approve them on one page, and every correction becomes a rule. Also: why I looked hard at Jev and said no, for now.
Koppel is out
Shopify stopped accepting apps that connect to another marketplace while Koppel was in the review queue. Two rounds of review, one late night, and then the rule changed.
